Mac Dilemma + SimCity4
I've been using a paper-thin Macbook Air since December 2011. I didn't regret buying it back then. I've been vying for a Mac since I was in highschool and so when I had the window of opportunity to have one as a Christmas present, I grabbed it by the balls. The issue here is I'm a gamer girl. Operative word being "girl" because I am not fond of war games (COD, Counterstrike) or RPGs. I am more inclined towards simulation games, like the Sims, and my own personal secret, gory zombie games like Resident Evil. Apparently, if you aren't acquainted with the Mac dilemma, there are only a handful of games you can play on your macbook. That is, unless you do some sort of partition and install a Windows operating system alongside the OS Lion. I know Sims 3 is available for macs but it's a big file and my laptop is already running on 10GB worth of free memory. Not enough to play it. I've only been craving for Sims 1 or 2, both of which are small enough for my ram capacity. Anyway, in order to remain sane.. I settled for the next best (next to nothing) and downloaded SimCity4 Rush Hour.
And honestly, it is quite addicting.
You guys go download it for yourselves. You'll feel like an economist at heart seeing as you have to allocate your land area, funds, and resources to build a city and satisfy your people's need.
