We went to Noel's Bazaar at the Filinvest Tent yesterday and it was a so-so event. I've been to Christmas bazaars/fairs before, all in World Trade Center Manila, and I suppose this is the root of my high expectations on it's south counterpart.
It was hot, for the entire time that we were there (2PM-4PM), we experienced two power shortages which meant they were only able to power up lights and not the aircons. Also, the place was poorly lit. There were areas/stalls that were a bit dark and that's not really working for the exhibitor's benefit.
Got some good buys anyway.
4 pairs of leggings for PHP600, they were in this really comfy fabric (good enough for sleeping).
A white camisole for PHP100 which boosted my ego cause the size I got was "Small" and it was still a bit too loose.
2 pairs of pants for PHP380 each. I needed to stock up on pants cause the ones I have are getting too loose and my belts are not helping anymore (they just ruin the outfit because it's looped too tight)
An oil painting-photo of me and my parents which we got for 1,200PHP. I think it's a ripoff cause I could've done that myself in photoshop and have it printed on the best kind of paper and only spend PHP300.
When it comes to bazaars, ABS-CBN still got the upper hand. Looking forward to their Christmas bazaar on December and I'm pretty freaking sure that one will deliver.
