• I remember my hesitation during my first day in school... How I reluctantly tugged on my mom's hand asking her if she could go inside with me. How she tricked me into thinking that she was just outside when in truth, she was doing groceries.
• I remember peeing myself unconsciously in Kindergarten. I was sitting on the floor, listening to my teacher when all of a sudden, I felt warmth seeping through my school uniform. I was unaware I've already peed myself. I have a photo proof of this somewhere (Me with my school blouse and jean shorts) 
• I remember asking my mom to take me to the marketplace (palengke, yes) if I ever get the top position on our batch honor roll during the 3rd quarter of my Prep Year. She did take me and I got so disappointed. All those efforts. 
• I remember chipping off a piece of my mug with my teeth when I was in Grade 1 cause I fell asleep while drinking milk. This begins my hatred of morning classes. 
• I remember bagging the "Best in Speech" title when I was in 2nd grade cause my ate (family friend), who was from UP, directed me on my final Speech exam. I was the only one who bothered to memorize it. My classmates and teacher were so amazed, they clapped. I remember not attending recognition ceremonies though cause I had chickenpox. 
• I remember getting pneumonia in 3rd grade that I missed my first communion and field demo. I remember nights of wheezing and coughing. I became so thin. 
• I remember being the first girl to get her mensies during 4th grade. I became an exotic human being. My teacher even asked to me stand in front of the room while she asked me personal questions. It was fine, I didn't think it was disgusting then. 
• I remember having my first M.U during 5th grade. 
• I remember having my first boyfriend during 6th grade. We lasted 2 weeks. Hoorah. 

• I remember the drama I was in during junior year. I was not a part of the "popular girls" then, I had my own group and I was okay with it. But out of nowhere, my own group became my own villains and my "alleged" friends kicked me out. Apparently, the "popular girls" saw that I was treated so bad they decided to adopt me. But eventually I found my way towards my real friends (my best friends till now) and I became at peace. I bumped into my "enemy" one time (she's studying in CSB), I think she recognized me and was on the verge to wave but I just turned my head away and pretended to not know her. I'm not mad, I'm just... disappointed. 
• Fourth year was weird. I had sophomore enemies and all because my childhood "friend" thought I told her mom that she had a boyfriend. Bitch please. The hell I care about your life. It was so weird but my classmates got my back and they started fighting in my behalf (because I can't think of a comeback as fast as they could) 

Highschool made me realize that friendship does not depend on matching personalities or whatnot. It depends on acceptance. You can be best friends with anyone, even your polar opposite, as long as both parties accept the weaknesses and strengths of each other. Shout out to my best girlies, Bea, Aira and Cat.
