Atlantic City
I did not know Atlantic City was in New Jersey. I told Jon that I thought it was in Georgia and he just said "You're thinking Atlanta sweetie"... I knew he really thought "You're thinking Atlanta you idiot". What I know of Atlantic was that it was a mini-Vegas with a beach. I remember the How I Met Your Mother episode where Lily and Marshall wanted to elope so they headed there. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH THAT'S WHY IT ONLY TOOK THEM A DRIVE. New York > Atlantic City, New Jersey.Well, now I can say that I've seen 2 of the 4 oceans in the world. I'm still a Pacific Baby though. Photodump up ahead
Caesars Palace
This was such a glorious statue.
This is the hotel lobby. It stuck so much to the theme.
We went outside to the boardwalk and I felt so covered up.
I got darker no? Which should not be an issue since I look better when I'm dark but ugh, I'm coming back to the land of gluta and papaya soaps. I cannot wait to be fucking teased again.
I was not sure if these buildings were functional. Anyway, we stayed here during the fireworks display. I was not able to take decent photos of the fireworks though cause there was a lamppost in front of me and it was ruining my photos.
Prett-ay
We headed for the beach just to wade a bit... get our feet wet and cool off.
Everyone took off their shoes as we entered sand but I was paranoid on stepping on a shard or shell. I didn't take it off until the sand was clear.
Squishyyy.
This would have been a lovely photo if not for the seaweed that got stuck in my toes and made my foot look like it has a varicose vein gone bad.
This was a tricky shot. I would try to bury my feet in the sand but when a tide rushes in, it would take away the sand and my feet would reappear.
If you can squint a bit, you can see a drawing of the demented Spongebob on the lower right
Writing with your toes is hard.
I did not notice how hungry I was until we had dinner at Johnny Rockets. I ordered a starters plate of 7 spicy chicken wings. It was tiny wings, stop judging. Me and my guy cousin ordered the same thing and he told me whoever finishes the meal first would win. I told him no cause I am a lady. I ended up finishing 3 wings ahead of him. Such a lady I am.
Fast forward to the end of the night...
I wanted to try the nightlife in Atlantic City but maybe when I'm with the right crowd.
So we headed back to Caesars for a quick tour of the casino.
I wanted to do slots but I was underage... and frugal.
