The Sunday Currently
It's been a while since I did one of these... missed it
READING
"All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven. It's taking me a while to finish this book not because it's bad (it's really good!) but I'm scared it'll make me cry.
WRITING
this and some write ups for my second werq.
LISTENING
The Weeknd. OMG. He has very crude songs but damn they're good. I listen to his album during my morning commute.
THINKING
werq again tomorrow. Where has the weekend gone.
SMELLING
this thing I put on my hair... and deodorant cause I just put on some.
WISHING
that my huge zit will be gone. We have a meet and greet tomorrow with some new hires and this zit is making me conscious.
HOPING
for a good week this week. I'm not exactly sure what will happen but heyyyy, may it be a good kind of eventful.
WEARING
a black tank top and a high-waist pants. Off to the mall in a while for some well deserved break.
LOVING
my Rimmel Clean Finish Matte Foundation in Natural Beige. I don't have a good concealer right now and I don't want to expose myself in the outside world with a big zit. But apparently, my foundation is more than enough. The redness is gone!
WANTING
some good deli roast beef. I can never find good cold cuts in this country and if ever I see a deli, it's usually just ham, salami, and more ham.
NEEDING
more hours in a day. wHOA. I work two jobs and I'm not complaining because I love doing both of them but it means sleeping at 2am and waking up at 5am.
FEELING
a tad sleepy.

Half of 2014, I was out of the country. I was away from my parents. I was living on my own.Three quarters of 2014, I was in a relationship. One that wasn't bound to last long The whole year, I was continuously learning, continuously growing up. I've made mistakes. I did horrible things. I had conflicts... I've made awesome decisions. I did nice things. I had new relationships. 2014 has been an eventful year. Not entirely amazing, but I had my days. I've learned that no matter how hard you try not to fall down in a slippery floor, going down that route is basically asking for it. I've learned that there are people who will not give a shit about your morals. I've learned that living outside your comfort zone is scary as fuck but that's where adventure begins. I've learned that if you accept that the only unconditional love is that of God's, heartbreak and disappointment will not hurt as much. 2015 should be just as eventful... |
